This workflow uses simple NSAppleScript and Script Filter to find running apps that can be restarted or quit directly from Alfred.

 

Instruction

  1. In Alfred's search input you can either type 'restart' or 'relaunch' to extract the NSAppleScript from the workflow.
  2. Once you have typed either of them, You will see "Restart App" press enter to list all running apps.
  3. Click any of apps from the Alfred's search that shown in Restart App result in order to restart/relaunch an app directly from Alfred.
  4. Adequately you can use quit function to quit an app without relaunch by pressing "alt" and "enter" in Keyboard.
